Former champion and Lil Yachty drop diss track on Sami Zayn before WWE WrestleMania

Just hours before his WWE United States Championship match at WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada, former NXT Champion Trick Williams and his partner Lil Yachty released a diss track for Sami Zayn.

Williams is set to make his first-ever WrestleMania appearance against Zayn. However, before that, he allied with Lil Yachty to release the new “Gingerbread Man” diss track. The two officially teamed up in St.Louis a few weeks ago and have now continued their alliance by dropping the diss track.

The song, titled ‘Gingerbread Man’ is not the first time Williams has written a diss track on one of his WWE rivals. He had previously done something similar in NXT and TNA Wrestling during his rivalries with Ethan Page, Joe Hendry, and Mike Santana.

A few weeks ago, Sami Zayn defeated Carmelo Hayes to book his WrestleMania spot. Hayes later failed to win back the United States title from Zayn on the Apr. 3, 2026 episode of SmackDown, thus finalizing Zayn’s title defense against Hayes. Despite a lengthy and successful title run spanning a few months, Hayes does not find himself a part of WrestleMania.
