It is everywhere you look.

Flag football is a rapidly growing sport within the United States. Recently it was reported that the Big 12 is considering adding women’s flag football specifically to its repertoire of varsity sports across the conference.

Consider that the NFL is embracing flag football, too. The Pro Bowl this past season featured flag football integration and the biggest stars in the game are all looking to be a part of the United States team that competes within the sport during the 2028 Summer Games.

One of the biggest stars within the overall world of flag football is Isabella Geraci. Izzy, as she is known, is a star in the flag football world and she recently linked up with an NFL star in Justin Jefferson to shine a light on the sport that they both love by way of U.S. Bank’s newly expanded partnership with the NFL.

In addition to becoming an official bank and wealth management sponsor of the NFL, U.S. Bank is aiming to help grow flag football at a variety of levels and linking up with Izzy is a part of that given that she is one of the biggest faces in the sport. Izzy detailed to SB Nation how she is grateful to be a part of such a growth opportunity and is excited to see what the future has in store for flag football at large.

As noted flag football is growing across varying levels and particularly as a women’s sport. It is exciting to consider what it may look like by the time people take the field for it during the Olympics two years from now.
