Fan hilariously ends up on wrong side of LeBron James’ Lakers highlight

The Los Angeles Lakers got a big win on Friday over the Houston Rockets, in Game 3 of their NBA Playoffs series. LeBron James finished with 29 points in the contest. In one particularly funny sequence, LeBron ended up coming into contact with a fan who was sitting courtside.

LeBron seemed to be almost sitting in the fan’s lap as he was making a play for the basketball, as it was about to sail out of bounds.

The Lakers lead the Rockets 3-0 in their series. Los Angeles has been impressive, especially considering Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves have been hurt. In Game 3, Lebron had a special night including assisting his son Bronny James on a basket.

LeBron spoke postgame about what it meant to win a pivotal Game 3. He also finished the game with 13 rebounds, six assists and eight turnovers.

“We don’t have the luxury of being passive or being complacent,” LeBron said, per ESPN. “We don’t have the luxury to do that. Our whole mindset is we have to do everything it takes in that particular game and that particular moment in that particular possession in order for us to win basketball games, because we don’t have a long leash of error.”

The Lakers stormed back in the final minute of regulation, after trailing by six with less than a minute to go. Los Angeles rallied to force overtime, then outscored Houston in the extra period.

“By the end of the comeback, the Lakers became just the second team in the past 30 postseasons to trail by six or more points in the final 30 seconds of regulation and go on to win, joining the Philadelphia 76ers over the New York Knicks in Game 5 of the first round in 2024, according to ESPN Research,” the outlet reported.

The Lakers and Rockets play Game 4 on Sunday night, in Houston.
