England facing carnage as possible World Cup opponents take matters into their own hands
England could face Mexico on their own turf at the World Cup and it is already apparent just how nightmarish that would be.
Mexican fans have launched a wild attempt to disrupt Ecuador’s preparations for their round of 32 clash.

The two sides meet at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Tuesday night.
However, hours before kick-off, hundreds of Mexico fans gathered outside their opponents’ team hotel.
Footage from the street showed car horns and motorcycle engines being used in a bid to wake the players up.
Others were even seen playing trumpets as they created a raucous atmosphere outside the hotel.
According to local reports, the Ecuador players were even spotted peaking out of their windows during the commotion.
It comes ahead of their match in the capital city at 7pm local time (2am BST) on Tuesday.
The winner will face either England or DR Congo at the Estadio Azteca this weekend.
Thomas Tuchel’s side could be met with the same pre-match scenes if they advance to the last 16 on Wednesday.
The Three Lions face DR Congo in Atlanta at 5pm, live on talkSPORT.
Pre-match disruption
Ecuador’s build-up to the match had earlier been disrupted before they had even arrived in Mexico.

Manager Sebastian Beccacece revealed during his pre-match press conference that they had been delayed by over three hours during their journey.
The squad had been scheduled to arrive in the country at 5pm local time on Monday.
However, they instead completed their journey at 8.20pm, with Beccacece unsure of the reasons for the delay.
Ecuador have been based in Columbus, Ohio during the tournament so far.
Their hotel for the World Cup is located over 2,000 miles from the Estadio Azteca.
History beckons
As for Mexico, they are aiming to end a 40-year wait to win a World Cup knockout match.

The co-hosts have not won a match beyond the group stage since the 1986 finals, which were also on home soil.
Their victory over Bulgaria at that tournament saw them match their best-ever World Cup performance.
El Tri have won all three of their matches so far at this summer’s finals, including beating South Africa and Czech Republic at the Estadio Azteca during the group stage.
