Dream’s Angel Reese cartoonishly mocks Caitlin Clark after foul

The Atlanta Dream are taking on the Indiana Fever on Thursday, which means it is another rematch between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. During the contest, there was a moment where Clark drew a foul on Reese, which led to the Dream star making fun of her.

Early in the second quarter, the Fever brought the ball down the court. Clark, who is 24 years old, was attempting to set a screen or run a route during a play. However, she bumped right into Reese while waving her arms in the air. The whistle was blown, and the foul was on Angel Reese.

The 24-year-old forward seemingly disagreed with the call. After looking around in disbelief, Reese mimicked Clark’s reaction to the foul call while screwing up her face and sticking her tongue out.

Atlanta is aiming to get some revenge over Indiana, as the Dream suffered an 83-71 loss to the Fever on June 4, the last time these two teams played. Since that loss, Reese’s team is 3-1 in their last four entering Thursday’s matchup. A victory would also end the Fever’s current four-game win streak.

Angel Reese’s first season with the Dream is going swimmingly. She is hitting her career averages while playing for a much more competitive franchise. The two-time All-Star entered the game against the Fever, averaging 14.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per contest. She is also shooting 41.7% from the field while hitting 75.3% of her free-throw attempts.

Through two quarters of play on Thursday, Reese has put up eight points with five rebounds and one assist.
