‘Dream come true’ – Tottenham Hotspur Women’s star eyes Harry Kane return
A Harry Kane return to Tottenham Hotspur is something all fans are dreaming of and Cathinka Tandberg wants it more than any other.
The Norwegian striker is Spurs’ latest goalscoring sensation, following in the footsteps of legends who have gone before.

Kane, Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane, Teddy Sheringham, Beth England, Jimmy Greaves, and Martin Chivers – to name but a few – have made the net bulge wearing lilywhite over the years.
Tandberg has three goals in five Women’s Super League games as she takes to life in England with ease.
Her physicality and guile make her a perfect fit in Martin Ho’s new-look Tottenham, who sit fourth in the WSL table.
They’re currently level on points with Arsenal and above Manchester United, who have been in the Champions League this term.
It marks a stunning turnaround for Spurs, who were in a relegation battle last season.
Tandberg was a key summer addition and in January has seen a raft of Scandinavians join her in N17 with compatriots Signe Gaupset and Julie Blakstad also at the club.
Meanwhile, Swedish stars Hanna Wijk and Matilda Nilden, sister of current Spurs left-back Amanda, have also arrived in the winter window.
Speaking about her own move, Tandberg admitted it helped she was already a massive supporter of the club having attended games at White Hart Lane with her family as a child.
She told talkSPORT: “Obviously, it plays a part. I’ve been a fan and playing for your childhood dream club is what you want. That played a part, but this club is going in such a good direction and it’s going forward.
“I think the people who are in the club and the coaching and the staff are really good.

“And I think for me, when it was Spurs, it was like an easy choice, of course.”
As a huge Spurs fan, it’s unsurprising she looks up to England captain Kane, who became the club’s record goalscorer during his iconic time in north London.
And Tandberg hopes their paths can eventually cross at the club.
Speaking about Kane, she said: “He’s a striker. He’s scoring goals and I think just that made me fall in love with him. I’m a striker as well and I love scoring goals. So, yeah, he was very good at that time.
“I just followed him and wanted to do the same as him.
“Obviously, 100 per cent it would be a dream come true to meet him. So hopefully he’s coming back.”

Asked about Tottenham’s performances this year in the WSL, Tandberg added: “I’m not surprised because that’s what I came here for. I wanted to help the club be better.
“We are a big club and we want to be in the top three every year. I think it’s maybe a shock for people because of how it ended last year.
“But I think the mindset has to be top three every year. This club has the players and it has everything for it. So for me, it’s been normal.”
Tandberg was, though, remaining coy about finishing above rivals Arsenal.
She replied: “Obviously, we compete with Arsenal and this is a London club as well. So we’re just focusing on ourselves. But being above Arsenal would be nice for us and nice for the fans, I think.”
Their next home game sees them face Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

It’s the first time the women’s side will play at the 62,000-seat arena this term.
And Tandberg is excited to give fans more reasons to cheer.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” she smiled. “I think that’s the games and the matches you want to play. And that’s what we work hard for and train for every day, is to compete in those games, especially here at the stadium.
“We want to show the fans what we’re good for and want to give them three points.”
