Dodgers receive crucial Andy Pages injury update

The Los Angeles Dodgers are operating without the services of Andy Pages at the moment, with the outfielder on the 10-day injured list with a hand injury.

The 25-year-old Pages is temporarily out of commission with a fracture in his hand that was hit by a Bubba Chandler fastball during a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in August.

The Dodgers got an encouraging status update on Pages on Wednesday, as he appears to be already pain-free in his injured hand.

“Andy Pages is pain free after having surgery on his left hand a little over a week ago. Pages will start swinging a bat in the next couple days beginning the swing progression rehab process,” David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports
reported via a social media post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

The initial timetable for Pages’ return was four to five weeks, so it is still too early to draw a definite date on when Pages will be back in action. It is possible that he misses the rest of the regular season and returns in the playoffs.

This season, the 2026 MLB All-Star is batting .272/.338/.458 with 21 home runs and 80 RBIs, along with 45 walks and 12 stolen bases across 128 games and 550 plate appearances.

As for the Dodgers, they remain one of the best teams in the majors amid the looming MLB postseason.

While they have stumbled of late with four losses in six games entering Wednesday’s matchup against the St. Louis Cardinals at Dodger Stadium, the reigning World Series champions remain atop the National League West with a sizeable 9.5-game lead over their division rivals.
