Dodgers’ affiliate open new $120 million stadium with Tom Cruise ties
The Los Angeles Dodgers are welcoming a new minor league affiliate to their organization.
The Ontario Tower Buzzers are set to take the field for the first time in their brand new, 6,000 seater ONT stadium in 2026, as the new Dodgers Single-A affiliate.

The stadium broke ground in October 2024, and after some final touch-ups, it is ready to welcome baseball action at the start of the minor league season.
The venue features a state-of-the-art clubhouse for the players to enjoy, as well as countless amenities for fans.
Baseball lovers are encouraged to visit their series of restaurants and a playground for kids.
Along with that, the field is a part of the Ontario Sports Empire, which provides fans with a replica field to play ball whenever they’d like.
“It’s gonna be Minor League Baseball taken to the extreme with that Dodger influence,” Allan Benavides, the general manager of the Tower Buzzers, told LAMagazine.
“The opportunity to come home to open this new facility, create new partnerships, family, the Dodgers,” he said. “It’s a dream, man.”
Ontario city officials say that the stadium, which cost $120 million to build, is expected to bring millions of new visitors and generate $70 million in annual economic impact.
They also project that the sports complex will also feature 20 different fields for multiple sports, a hotel and dining and entertainment venues.
They begin their season on Thursday, April 2, against the Lake Elsinore Storm, the Single-A affiliate of the rival San Diego Padres.
Benavides said that while Opening Day is already sold out, there are still tickets available for the other games in their opening weekend.

The team will bring professional baseball to the city of Ontario, California, with a brand identity deeply rooted in the region’s aviation history.
The Tower Buzzers will replace the long-standing Rancho Cucamonga Quakes as the Dodgers’ Single-A affiliate.
Unveiled in September 2025, the team’s name and branding are a direct homage to the nearby Ontario International Airport and the adrenaline of flight.
The name “Tower Buzzers” is a playful nod to the famous line from the 1986 film Top Gun: ‘Sorry Goose, but it’s time to buzz the tower.’.
The color palette features the Dodgers iconic blue and white to signify the parent club connection.
The team will have a mascot named ‘Maverick’ in another nod to Top Gun.
Maverick will be a bee wearing aviator goggles and a flight scarf, and he will also be present on the team’s logo.
