Conor McGregor opens up on family motivation amid injury absence

Undergoing surgery and recovering from his ACL injury, Conor McGregor recently opened up about his loved ones. Following his disappointing UFC 329 return against Max Holloway, McGregor suffered an injury that put him on the bench.

Now recovering from the setback, McGregor recently found himself getting very active on social media. Away from the octagon, McGregor shared a warm message for his wife, Dee Devlin, sharing a glimpse into his personal life.

“I love my women so much it’s why I love to work,” McGregor wrote. “She always knows her place she got style she got grace she’s a winner [Gold medal emoji] you’re a winner my darling! I love it, bring it on, bring on the graft! Set your alarm it’s Monday tomorrow sink or swim,” McGregor finished. “We love you so much daddy,” McGregor’s wife commented on the photo.

“The Notorious One” paired the emotional message on his social media with a photo with his wife alongside a few other photographs of his stout beer. McGregor and Devlin have been together with each other for almost two decades. The couple met each other back in 2008, long before McGregor’s rise in popularity. The couple has stood strong through several of his controversies and are now parents to four children.

Away from fighting, McGregor now hopes to return in 2027 and have his last UFC fight. He was also recently teased to undergo a major career change and join BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) following the conclusion of his UFC career. McGregor, 38, was also recently warned about his physical condition by Joe Rogan.
