Cheltenham Festival super boosts on Bambino Fever, Wodhooh, Teahupoo & Fact to File on Tote

We are right at the heart of Cheltenham Festival for 2026, with two day’s of brilliant racing and some shocks, day three rears its head as the Irish really come to town for St. Patrick’s Day.

There were big upsets on Ladies’ Day as Il Etait Temps won the showpiece Champion Chase, beating overwhelming favourite Majborough.

As day three rolls around, Tote have put together a pair of super-charged odds boosts on some of the Irish-trained Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott’s favourites.

Bambino Fever is Mullins-trained front-runner in Wednesday’s opener. Wins on two of her last three outings at Punchestown and Fairyhouse has her well-positioned for a strong run over fences at Cheltenham.

The winner of last year’s Champion Bumper returns to the scene of her victory, but this time to go for gold in the Mares’ Novices’ Chase.

Wodhooh is Gordon Elliott’s lively runner in the 2:40PM Close Brothers’ Mares’ Hurdle.

Youthful exuberance could be the making…or the breaking of her, despite Festival experience when winning the Martin Pipe in 2025.

Teahupoo goes in the 3:20PM for Elliott. The relentless French galloper is proven at the top echelons of the game, including the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle at Leoparstown in December. Beating out Bob Olinger and Ballyburn in that race.

Second in the Stayers’ in 2025, Teahupoo will be the benchmark and the one they all must beat.

The Mullins-trained Fact to File has opted to go for a double Ryanair Chase title, rather than line up in Friday’s Gold Cup. Which will mean a huge head-to-head clash with Nicky Henderson’s Jonbon.

On the face of it Fact to File has the lot, Grade 1 wins, a rating of 173 and envied form ,including victory at the Irish Gold Cup Chase at Leopardstown in February.
