Chelsea look really solid going forward and up against Leeds could be safe from conceding like they have been in the Premier League.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin looks dangerous always up top for the Whites at the moment though and could be the one to side with to get Leeds on the board, but it looks like he could get a rest on the bench in favour of Lukas Nmecha.

The lineups should also be expected to change a fair bit to give more players a start and also some key players a rest.

However, I can see Chelsea doing well despite those changes where there could be more goals in this kind of clash.

Best player bets

There’s some tasty EFL Cup clashes this midweek but this one is definitely right up there as the best to watch.

Nmecha could be causing plenty of problems against Chelsea up top for Leeds. He scored six last season in the Premier League but as already assisted once in his first two appearances for the club this season.

But Chelsea look like they could have a few players ending up on the scoresheet with a change in lineup for Leeds’s backline that could disrupt the flow.

Danny Welbeck is likely to start ahead of Joao Pedro now to give the main striker a rest and the England forward managed to net in the second round of the EFL Cup.

Estevao looks like a great option to get some kind of attacking return as well as he’s also set to get a start.

The Brazilian forward is sure to look bright again too and has been threatening when getting game time for the Blues, making an ideal choice for a goal involvement.

Chelsea are a short price but still look a solid enough one to include with bet builders or combination bets.

Alongside the fact, mentioned above, there should be plenty of goals in this clash with threats on both sides and both defences looking fragile enough.
