Liverpool finished third in the league phase table and head to Turkey having won five of their of their last six matches in all competitions, and will be out for revenge having already lost against Tuesday’s opposition back in September.

Arne Slot’s opponents head into the clash having won their last three matches, taking them four points clear at the top of the Super Lig and will be partaking in the last 16 of the Champions League for the first time in 12 years.

Wednesday’s match will be the first time the two sides have met since they competed in the Club World Cup final back in July, with Chelsea prevailing 3-0 winners.
