Arsenal (1) v (0) Sporting Lisbon (Wed, 8pm)
Sporting Lisbon to win or draw, Luis Suarez to score, both teams to be carded – (was 11/2) NOW 13/2
Arsenal head into tonight’s Champions League quarter final second leg having lost three of their last four matches in all competitions following their surprise 2-1 home defeat against Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime, while Sporting having won four of their last five.
Luis Suarez (not that one) has scored 33 goals in 44 appearances since making the move to Sporting Lisbon from Almeria in the summer, signing as Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres’ replacement, including 22 goals in his last 22 league appearances and nine in his last eight.
Both teams are averaging two yellow cards per match in the Champions League this season, with only three teams having received more than Sporting in the entire competition, and the Gunners just three bookings fewer.
Arsenal to win, Viktor Gyokeres to score, Eberechi Eze to have 2+ shots on target – (was 27/4) NOW 8/1
Arsenal won all eight of their Champions League league phase matches this season to finish top of the 36-team team table, and have won 10 of their 11 matches in the competition so far, including last week’s first leg in Lisbon.
Mikel Arteta’s side also boast a six point lead at the top of the Premier League table, while Sporting are five points off the pace in Portugal and have won just once on the road in the Champions League this season.
Gyokeres is Arsenal’s leading goal scorer this season following his big money move from tonight’s opponents so will no doubt have a point to prove in his bid to get one over his old side, and add to his 18 goals so far this campaign, of which four have come in his last four home league games.
Ebere Eze put in a match winning performance on his most recent Champions League appearance, scoring a screamer in a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the home league of the last round.

Bayern Munich (2) v (1) Real Madrid (Wed, 8pm)
Bayern Munich to win, Harry Kane to score, Jude Bellingham to be carded – (was 11/2) NOW 13/2
Bayern Munich have won 12 of their last 13 matches in all competitions, including each of their last five, and their 5-0 away win in the league on Saturday has left them 12 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga in their bid for a continental treble.
Harry Kane has been enjoying the season of his life so far this season, with 49 goals in 41 appearances for Bayern Munich in all competitions, at least 10 more than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues, including one at the win at the Bernabeu last week, and could hit 50 for the campaign tonight.
Kane’s international team Jude Bellingham is expected to return to the starting line up tonight after missing out in recent weeks to injury, and will no doubt be wearing his hurt on his sleeve in his bid to help Real Madrid into the semi final, and could pick up a booking in the process.
Vinicius Junior to score, Jonathan Tah to be carded, over 9.5 corners – (was 13/1) NOW 15/1
Only Kylian Mbappe has scored more goals for Real Madrid this season than Vinicius Junior, the Brazilian having already scored four goals in the knockout stages of the Champions League, including three in his two appearances on the road away from home.
Jonathan Tah picked up his eighth booking of the season in last week’s first leg of this Champions League tie against the 15-time champions of Europe, having also received yellows in each of his last two league starts and will no doubt have his work cut out for him tonight as he takes on a Real Madrid attack knowing nothing but a win will do for them.
Only two teams have taken more corners in the Champions League this season than Real Madrid, both of whom played last night, while Bayern Munich are seventh on the 36-team tally. Both teams are averaging taking six corners per match.
