Cavs’ Jarrett Allen just blurted out another meme-worthy quote during Knicks series

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in do-or-die mode as they’re down 3-0 in their series against the New York Knicks. It was another game where the Cavs found themselves down for most of the game, and they couldn’t find a rhythm to get back in it.

Another thing that seemed to be a big topic in Game 3 was the Knicks fans in Cleveland, as it almost felt like an away game for the home team. For most of the playoffs, Knicks fans have traveled to the opposition’s arena, and with the Knicks continuously dominating, all you can hear is them roaring throughout the game.

Jarrett Allen was asked about the Knicks’ crowd in Game 1, and, funny enough, as honest as he was, he may have also given people a new meme-worthy quote.

“We just have to realize that they’re gonna come––they’re gonna come deep,” Allen said.

This may be similar to when he said years ago in the playoffs that the lights were brighter than expected, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if people took this quote and ran with it.

As for Mitchell, he wasn’t surprised about Knicks fans coming into Cleveland and taking over.

“I’m from New York, this doesn’t shock me. They do it in every arena. That’s how Knicks fans are. I was one back in the day,” Mitchell said.

Every player will tell you that their fans fuel them throughout the game, but the Cavs were not able to get that from their fans in Game 3. With their season on the line, they’re going to need them in Game 4 if they want to extend this series.

At the same time, the Cavs will have to focus on what they can control, and that’s playing better, regardless of whether the fans are cheering for them or not.
