Brawl Stars Nori Guide – Attacks & Stats Per Level
Nori’s Main Attack, Fishing Fury, technically has two methods of fire. Firstly, players can just tap the attack button, which allows Nori to swing his fishing rod in a small, cone-shaped area. Unlike Bibi, the attack doesn’t have a wind up, so Nori can unleash it quickly.
Secondly, Nori’s second method of attack requires you to press and hold the attack button. This charges Nori’s Fishing rod and changes the range from a cone to a straight line. The range of the attack increases the longer he charges his attacking, and when you let go, he’ll unleash his rod to where you aimed it. You can use this attack to cling on to walls or enemies, the latter of whom will take damage twice from both the fishing rod and Nori’s dash.
If Nori fully charges his rod, he can use it to jump over walls. Additionally, every time he hits an enemy, he collects a fish. Nori can collect up to 10 fish, which impact the damage output of his Super. However, he cannot heal while charging his attack.
Nori’s Super, Catch of the Day, lets him jump to a location where he spawns a pond of water that he dives into. After a brief delay, a giant fish spawns, dealing damage to all enemies in his Super’s range. The Super’s size and damage depends on the amount of fish Nori is carrying. While his Super can be charged quickly, Nori can wait to catch more fish for a deadlier catch.
Additionally, take a look at Nori‘s stats (These are Nori’s stats as of July, 2026. All Stats are subject to changes and may not be reflected here):
| POWER LEVEL | HEALTH | Main Attack Damage (Melee) | Main Attack Damage (Range/Dashed) | Super Damage: Min → Max |
| 1 | 3800 | 1100 | 720 | 1250 → 1750 |
| 2 | 4180 | 1210 | 792 | 1375 → 1925 |
| 3 | 4560 | 1320 | 864 | 1500 → 2100 |
| 4 | 4940 | 1430 | 936 | 1625 → 2275 |
| 5 | 5320 | 1540 | 1008 | 1750 → 2450 |
| 6 | 5700 | 1650 | 1080 | 1875 → 2625 |
| 7 | 6080 | 1760 | 1152 | 2000 → 2800 |
| 8 | 6460 | 1870 | 1224 | 2125 → 2975 |
| 9 | 6840 | 1980 | 1296 | 2250 → 3150 |
| 10 | 7220 | 2090 | 1368 | 2375 → 3325 |
| 11 | 7600 | 2200 | 1440 | 2500 → 3500 |
Brawl Stars Nori Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?
Overall, Nori has two gadgets:
- Sushi Snack – “Nori eats up to 3 fish to heal himself for each fish eaten.”
- Gonna Need a Bigger Net – “Aim a fishing net that roots the first Brawler hit for 1.25 sec and deals damage.”
Additionally, Nori has two Star Powers:
- Big Haul – “Nori catches 3 fish when his Super hits enemy Brawlers.”
- His Mother’s Son – “Nori gains extra speed for 1 sec whenever he hits an enemy with his Main Attack.”
Furthermore, Nori can use the following gears in battle:
- Speed
- Vision
- Health
- Shield
- Damage
- Gadget Cooldown
Brawl Stars Nori Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup
Firstly, for Gadgets, we prefer Sushi Snack to help keep Nori alive. He has 7600 HP at Power Level 11, which is fine, but not amazing for close-range brawlers. Furthermore, since Nori can carry 10 fish, using three to heal won’t greatly affect his Super. Gonna Need a Bigger Net is also good, but considering Nori needs to be up close and personal for his most powerful attacks, Sushi Snacks seems like a better option at launch.
Secondly, for Star Powers, we personally prefer Big Haul, especially if you pair it with Sushi Snack. You can basically use your Super with 10 fish, deal a ton of damage, and then use those three fish you gained to heal if you need it. The speed boost from His Mother’s Son is too short to really make an impact in most situations.
Lastly, for Gears, we recommend a Damage and Shield Gear. These gears tend to work well with most brawlers, providing both offensive and defensive boosts. Furthermore, Nori needs all the health he can get if he wants to cause havoc.
Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Nori In (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)
Solo, Duo, & Trio Showdown
Nori’s ability to quickly traverse the map, destroy multiple boxes with his piercing attack, and strong Super all make him a great brawler for any Showdown map/mode. He can use his fishing rod to chase down low HP brawlers and catch more fish. Furthermore, only needs one to activate Sushi Snack, and the more he gets, the more powerful his Super becomes. Overall, he works extremely well in these modes.
Bounty/Knockout/Wipeout
Nori may have a close-range attack, but his ability to move around quickly actually makes him solid in all of these modes. However, he doesn’t have a lot of health, making it easy for brawlers like Piper, Mandy, and Brock to take him down easily. But if you know how to use Nori’s fishing rod, you’ll have an easy time terrorizing your opponents.
Heist
If left unattended, Nori can actually cause a lot of damage to the safe. Furthermore, he’ll be tough to take down if he utilizes his fishing rod. Additionally, Nori can pierce with his main attack, letting him hit the safe and enemies at the same time while gathering fish. Lastly, he can build up fish to heal or save them for his Super. Again, Sushi Snack with Big Haul make Nori even deadlier and more resilient.
Brawl Stars Nori Guide – What Mode(s) Should I NOT Use Nori In?
Hot Zone
Honestly, Nori works well in every mode. Overall, the new and legendary brawler is broken (big surprise). But if I were to pick one mode he may struggle in, it’s maybe Hot Zone. That’s because he can’t really damage enemies outside the zone unless he charges his rod to leave the zone. However, his fishing rod makes it easy for him to jump in and out of the zone while avoiding enemy fire or chasing an enemy down.
Overall, that wraps up our Brawl Stars Nori Guide!
