Bills’ Damar Hamlin expertly trolls Shedeur Sanders with signature celly after INT

The Buffalo Bills went up against the Cleveland Browns in their second preseason game, and there are many players who made a name for themselves throughout the contest. One of those players happened to be Damar Hamlin, who got an interception off a Shedeur Sanders pass in the first half.

Just like with any turnover, Hamlin and the team went to the end zone and celebrated. Hamlin got down on both knees and gave thanks to God, and then he did Sanders’ signature watch celebration.

This isn’t the first time that someone has used Sanders’ celebration against him. They would do it all the time when he was at Colorado, and even when he started toward the end of the season, defenders would pull out his celebration.

For Hamlin, it may have been a big moment for him as he looks to play a pivotal part on the field for the Bills this season. His playing time has varied over the past few years, but he still finds a way to make an impact wherever he can.

With the depth the Bills have at safety, Hamlin could be facing an uphill battle to possibly make the team, according to ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg in her training camp preview.

“Safety depth has turned into a strength. In turn, that leaves Damar Hamlin in a tricky spot,” Getzenberg wrote. “The edge in versatility goes to Kilgore and Hancock, while Franklin was brought back for his special teams abilities. Hamlin certainly has a chance to make the roster, but he’ll have to prove why he deserves a spot as a contributor on defense and special teams. This is a group to watch.”

Hamlin has one more game to prove that he deserves to be on the team, and there’s no doubt he’ll try to make the most of the opportunity.
