Big Cedar Lodge now has a world-class putting green and course at Top of the Rock
The folks at Big Cedar Lodge don’t know how to stop.
You can find some of the very best golf in the world, among a host of other things, in the middle of the Ozarks at Big Cedar Lodge, and as noted they are always going. It was just a year ago that Big Cedar Lodge unveiled Cliffhangers, which remains one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been, and there is already something else new for guests to enjoy.
It was the Fourth of July specifically when Cliffhangers opened to the public in 2025 and this year on our nation’s birthday Big Cedar unveiled the Top of the Rock Putting Green & Putting Course… a 2-acre green and 9-hole putting course designed by father-son duo, Johnny and JP Morris.
Look at this thing!
The new attraction is set against incredible views of Table Rock Lake and the Cathedral of Nature. Having spent some time on property at large myself I can tell you that there is not a bad view in sight, no pun intended.
As far as the nuts and bolts of things are concerned, the putting course has real bentgrass greens and the glass-smooth surface creates yet another one-of-a-kind experience in the Ozarks. There are rolling hills and slopes all over the place, all to help golfers take on Top of the Rock which is the 9-hole, par-3 course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
For those curious, golfers who are playing Top of the Rock are eligible to play Top of the Rock Putting Green & Putting Course for free. Guests who are visiting and dining at any of the Top of the Rock venues can pay $10 to play, including a rental putter and custom-branded golf ball.
