Punjab Kings have not yet formally asked Arshdeep Singh to stop posting vlogs or reels on his Instagram account. However, the franchise is set to communicate the recently issued advisory from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to its players during a meeting scheduled for Saturday evening.

Arshdeep, who enjoys a massive following of over six million on Instagram, is widely known for sharing entertaining reels and vlog-style content that has become popular among cricket fans on social media. According to the new directive, players will now be expected to post content only through their franchise’s official social media handles.

As reported by Cricbuzz, PBKS will hold the meeting after their practice session at the HPCA Stadium, where players will also be asked to sign documents confirming compliance with the updated BCCI guidelines.

A co-owner of Punjab Kings was initially expected to address the squad during the meeting. However, due to a flight diversion, the owner could not reach Dharamsala. Franchise CEO Satish Menon will now brief the players and seek their commitment to following the new regulations.

The BCCI has reportedly issued a comprehensive list of dos and don’ts for IPL players, support staff, team officials, and franchise owners. The guidelines cover several areas, including interaction with guests, access to team hotels, smoking and vaping policies, accreditation card display, and compliance with PMOA regulations.

Under the new directive, every IPL franchise manager must conduct a meeting with the squad within 48 hours of receiving the instructions. Punjab Kings are expected to complete the process on Saturday evening, comfortably within the stipulated deadline.

"The BCCI holds the Team Manager and/or the authorised person from the Franchise jointly and severally responsible for ensuring full compliance with the directives. Convene a mandatory team briefing within 48 hours of receipt of this Advisory to communicate its contents to all players and support staff and obtain a written acknowledgement from each player and support staff member confirming receipt and understanding of the directives,” as reported by Cricbuzz.
