Almost a month ago, WWE NXT Superstar and former champion Thea Hail opened up about her battle with alopecia. Hail had shared the news on her social media along with a morphed bald image of herself.

Shortly after the announcement, her fellow NXT wrestlers shared their love and support. Now, recently speaking on her YouTube channel, Hail opened up in detail about her alopecia and also shared how it has now been growing at a concerning rate.

“Fun fact, I have alopecia right now. I’m balding. It’s like my favorite thing to talk about. So, his name is Harold. That’s my bald spot. He is growing a lot right now, like at a concerning rate. So, he is starting to peek through a little bit. He’s there. You see him? There he is. He’s starting to make little appearances now. And he was not doing that before. So, I go get more blood work tomorrow. I have to go get more blood work. I don’t like getting blood work,” she shared.

Hail also shared that she can't have cheese right now because she is trying to cut inflammatory foods, as they can cause “flare-ups with alopecia,” as well as energy drinks. Hail further added that she is currently stressed out and has anxiety.

“Yes, I’m losing my hair. Just in that one little spot, he just keeps growing. His name’s Harold. If we get another one, we’ll name him something else. But Harold is this one,” Hail continued. “I’m not too thrilled about Harold, but he’s a part of me now.

“We keep joking that eventually… alopecia does normally go away and your hair comes back. It does kind of take a year. I have like this spiky thing I jab into my head to stimulate the hair follicles. And I got a bunch of oils… I’m going to do an allergy panel and see if that can kind of come back with anything,” she finished. (H/T Ewrestlingnews)

Hail is a former WWE NXT Women's North American Champion and has now earned herself another shot at the title. Hail is now scheduled to face Zaria for the title on next week's WWE NXT episode.
