Last year in Jul. 2025, WWE and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan passed away due to an acute myocardial infarction, aka, a heart attack. Despite his controversies, Hogan was one of the most popular names in the entertainment industry and a pillar figure in turning pro-wrestling into a household name.

While TMZ and Netflix released a documentary on Hogan's death and career, and many people spoke in it, his children Nick and Brooke Hogan had a different experience with their father's death.

Although Brooke had a strained relationship with her father, she was among the few who questioned his death and all the shady involvements in it. Recently, speaking to US Weekly, Brooke Hogan opened up about her relationship with her father and what ruined it.

The 38-year-old revealed that her father “slept” with her friend Christiane Plante, which strained their bond. While Hogan and his wife, Linda, were separated during the affair, they formally divorced after the news of their split became public.

“A major turning point came after he slept with my friend Christiane [Plante],” Brooke said. “I forgive people very easily — sometimes probably too easily — and I forgave him, but something between us changed afterward. I don’t think he ever related to me in quite the same way again.”

Plante had confirmed the affair with Hogan to the National Enquirer in 2008, almost a year after Hogan's divorce from Linda. Hogan and Linda divorced in 2007, almost 24 years after their marriage. In the same interview with US Weekly, Brooke Hogan also revealed that their parents' divorce changed their entire family dynamic. In addition to Brooke, Hogan and Linda also had another child, Nick Hogan.
