LaMelo Ball is looking forward to the next chapter of his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Not only does he have excitement toward playing alongside Anthony Edwards, he also anticipates a great time with Jaden McDaniels on the court.

Ball is gearing up for the seventh season of his career, his first with the Timberwolves. He spent the first six seasons with the Charlotte Hornets before they traded him to Minnesota for Naz Reid in a four-team deal.

This week marks the first of the 2026-27 campaign, starting on Tuesday. Ball spoke with media on Monday as he expressed his joy of playing alongside McDaniels on the court.

“I love Jaden, I mean 6’10, move, run, play defense, cut back, shoot the three, I mean really anything you need. Damn near a 2K player, it’s crazy,” Ball said.
