The Chicago Bulls are having a decent preseason. On Wednesday, they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 125-104 to go 2-2 in the preseason.
However, they still have growing pains to work through. During the game, head coach Tiago Splitter made a slight miscalculation with Dailyn Swain and Norman Powell. In the 3rd quarter, Swain came in for Norman Powell, thinking he had used his minutes.
However, Swain played 36 seconds before Powell returned.
After the game, Splitter took responsibility for the miscommunication, per K.C. Johnson of The Chicago Sports Network. Essentially, Splitter said it was “on him.”
Despite the minor glitch, the Bulls played very well overall. Powell finished with 16 points and went 3-for-8 from the field. Swain added 4 points and 2 assists.
Matas Buzelis led the way with 19 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds. Leonard Miller finished with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Jalen Smith came away with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Caleb Wilson and Jailyn Sellers each finished with 10 points.

Meanwhile, Swain arrives with the No.15 draft pick out of the University of Texas. Powell is a veteran scorer and leader coming from the Miami Heat. In July, Powell signed a 2-year, $45 million contract with Chicago.
The Bulls will close out the preseason on Friday, October 16, at the United Center against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Their first regular-season game is scheduled for October 21 on the road against the Toronto Raptors.
