The Chicago Bulls aren't necessarily putting all their eggs in the Caleb Wilson basket. That being said, there is no question that Wilson will have all eyes on him.
With the NBA season beginning next week, various outlets have released their Top 100 NBA player lists. Wilson has made some of those lists.
On Wednesday, Bleacher Report ranked Wilson No. 99. In September, ESPN ranked Wilson No. 97 in its system. CBS Sports officially ranked Wilson No. 4 in their Top 10 NBA rookies.
That being said, The Ringer's Top 100 player list didn't include Wilson. They instead included his teammates Josh Giddey, Matas Buzelis, and Norman Powell.
However, there is no denying Wilson's potential going into his debut season. Some are expecting Wilson to be a Rookie of the Year candidate.
In June, Wilson was the No.4 pick in the NBA Draft. He arrives in Chicago from the University of North Carolina with a playing style that mirrors what new executive Bryson Graham calls his SLAP acronym (size, length, athleticism, and physicality).
Wilson is all that in one player. He provides a unique combination of strength, agility, leadership, and poise that goes well beyond his young years.

The Bulls are looking to begin a new era with a new approach after years of the same old, same old. As a result, they are banking in part on Wilson living up to his potential.
So far, Wilson has had a solid preseason. He is averaging 15.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
