The Notre Dame football program is currently gearing up for their upcoming big road game against BYU on Saturday evening. The Fighting Irish are coming off a dominant win over the Stanford Cardinal over the weekend, one in which star defensive back Leonard Moore didn't play due to a concussion.
Now, the Fighting Irish have gotten the latest update on Leonard's status ahead of the BYU matchup, as well as another key player on their roster.
“Cornerback Leonard Moore and defensive tackle Jason Onye both practiced this week. Marcus Freeman said he expects both to help Notre Dame on Saturday night,” reported Pete Sampson of The Athletic on X, formerly Twitter.
Moore is one of the best overall players on the Notre Dame roster, and the team could certainly use him on Saturday against what has been an explosive BYU offensive attack so far this year.
College football insider Pete Thamel of ESPN provided more context on Leonard's recovery process prior to the game.
