The Chicago Bulls are itching to get the rebuilding process going. So far, the Bulls are performing decently in the preseason, starting 2-2. They will close out the preseason at home on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Then they kick off the regular season on the road against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, October 21. After that, the Bulls will have their work cut out for them, as they face formidable opponents from October 21 to November 11.
On October 28 and November 4, Chicago will play the defending champion New York Knicks. Two days later, they will play the Boston Celtics on the road. On November 2 and 8, they will play the Philadelphia 76ers, featuring LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, and VJ Edgecombe. Then, on November 11, the Bulls will play the San Antonio Spurs, featuring Victor Wembanyama.
On paper, that doesn't bode well for a rebuilding team facing some of the league's best talent. However, that didn't sway new head coach Tiago Splitter in the slightest. If anything, he is looking forward to the “loaded” schedule, as he told Sam Smith of NBA.com during the pre-game presser on Friday.
“The beginning of the season is pretty loaded,” Splitter said. “But that doesn't change anything.”

Splitter is beginning his first season as head coach of the Bulls. They have a mixture of youngsters looking to make it (Caleb Wilson), middle-tier players looking to grow (Matas Buzelis), and veterans looking to lead (Norman Powell, Josh Giddey).
Regardless of who they play, they will be hard to ignore.
