Seth Rollins is loving where he is in his career.

Rollins has been signed to the WWE since 2010 and is aware how his age — and contract — could play into the future of his time in the ring.

“Right now, I’ve got three years left on my WWE contract — I’ll be 43 when that’s up,” Rollins told Sports Business Journal. “I want to be with WWE as long as I can continue to contribute and feel I’m helping the product, as opposed to taking up space that could be better utilized for younger talent.

While the wrestling legend has only a couple more years left on his contract, he still wants to continue to be in both worlds: sports media and WWE.

“When it comes to the sports media side of it, what I will not do is say I’m stopping wrestling and now I’m doing sports media. I want to continue at this game in WWE while also continuing to field offers [in sports media] and see where that goes. Once we get closer to the next contract with WWE, it’ll be like, ‘OK, what does this look like? Is there any interest from an ESPN for a bigger role or something that’s more substantial, something that can provide for me after pro wrestling?’

He added that where he is is right where he wants to be: “Right now, I’m very happy where I’m at and that I get to do both.”

Rollins was last in the ring during a non-televised WWE live-event tour in South America. His last televised event was back in August, when he loss to Roman Reigns at the World Heavyweight Championship at Summer Slam.

As for his sports media career now, Rollins has appeared on several ESPN programs like First Take, Get Up, SportsCenter, and Good Morning Football. He's also worked on special programming when he was a studio analyst for Netflix's 2025 NFL Christmas Day game (Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings).
