Opening lines for UFC 332 weren't fully available to me, so this piece tracks movement from the late-September lines to Friday's board. That means it shows direction and magnitude over the last week, not every tick since the opener. The biggest steam is on Payton Talbott over Deiveson Figueiredo and Esteban Ribovics over King Green. Natália Silva's price in the vacant flyweight title fight has barely changed.
Talbott Gets Even More Expensive
Talbott was already a heavy favorite, listed around -600 with Figueiredo at +451 on September 27. By Friday, Talbott ranged from roughly -611 to -910 depending on the book, with Figueiredo up to about +575 at the most extreme. Most books have moved Talbott's price further, and the underdog side keeps stretching. Covers' implied probability puts Talbott at about 83%.
I read this as a market that sees a style and trajectory gap. Talbott is the rising, rangy striker, and Figueiredo is a former champion with a lot of mileage. The method markets back this up. Talbott inside the distance is near even money or better at some books, and Talbott by KO/TKO is around +110 to +120. The market isn't only backing Talbott to win. It expects him to finish.
The danger is price. At -800 or more, a bettor needs Talbott to win roughly 89% of the time just to break even. Figueiredo's remaining upside, a single shot or a scramble into a submission, is real but narrow.
Ribovics Firms Up Against Green
The lightweight fight between Ribovics and King Green has also leaned in one direction. Ribovics sits between about -219 and -250, while Green has shortened from the +181 range at some books to +175 to +195 at others. The implied probability is about 66% for Ribovics.
The market may be reading Ribovics as the younger, more durable fighter with a clearer path to winning rounds. Green is a beloved action fighter, but his price suggests bettors aren't willing to treat that popularity as an edge. The totals lean the same way. "Under 2.5 rounds" is favored near -138 to -155, and the fight is expected to end before the scorecards
Silva-Wang Barely Budges
The headliner has been quiet by comparison. Silva was -210 against Wang Cong at +177 on September 27, and she was -198 against +164 in a midweek snapshot. Friday's board has Silva between -205 and -225 and Wang between +163 and +175.
That stability matters because the title fight was an emergency booking. Valentina Shevchenko was supposed to defend her belt but fell off the card with an injury. She then vacated the title so Silva and Wang could headline for the vacant belt. Even so, bettors haven't made a big adjustment. They clearly respect Silva, but they also see Wang as unbeaten and competitive enough to keep her price in the live-underdog range.
The method markets show a close fight. "Fight goes to decision" is around -225 to -280, and Silva by decision is near even money. Most books expect a long, tactical fight rather than an early finish.
Smaller Notes Worth Watching
Several other lines have only a single reference point, so I can't call them market moves. Roberto Soldić was listed around -325 against Khaos Williams at +263, and Johnny Walker was -135 against Mick Parkin at +115. Court McGee's opening price against Eric Nolan was +219, with Nolan at -265.
There was also a late prelim change. Benardo Sopaj dropped out against Marcus McGhee, and UFC newcomer Anthony Romero stepped in at featherweight. Replacement fights usually carry thin markets, so bettors should be cautious about reading the numbers as sharp opinion.
