Houston welcomed back Nico Collins, who missed the past two games with a hamstring injury, and he torched Dallas on the first drive.
The Texans’ first play was a 45-yard completion to Collins to the Dallas 40. He ended the drive with a 7-yard touchdown catch, with DaRon Bland lined up on him.
The Texans went 85 yards in eight plays, scoring first-possession points for the first time this season.
The Cowboys now get their opportunity on offense.
