The Milwaukee Brewers took a 10-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night. The win put the Brewers one win away from winning the World Series.

It was a disaster of a fifth inning for the Rays. They were down 2-0 going into the inning, and left the inning down 10-0. At the heart of the disaster for the Rays was Cam Booser. After the game, he spoke about the nightmare performance, per Mark Skol of FoxNews13.

“It's a good lineup. Things seem to be going their way right now,” Booser said. “So, it's unfortunate. Worst feeling in the world feeling like you let your team down. So, yeah, it's unfortunate.”

Booser entered the game in relief of Freddy Peralta. The bases were loaded with two outs when Booser entered the game. He gave up a single to Brice Turang that drove in two runs. Garrett Mitchell then drove in another two runs on a second single. Cooper Pratt and then Sal Frelick both hit doubles, driving in three more runs. That is when Booser left the game, still responsible for Frelick on second. Frelick would score on the next batter. This left Booser with a line of four hits and four earned runs on 12 pitches without recording an out. Cole Sulser, who came in next, also gave up a run.

Overall, the Rays pitchers had given up 15 hits and three walks with ten runs in the first five innings of the game. The Rays will turn to Griffin Jax in Game 4 with their season on the line.
