NFL Expert Picks for Week 6

Every game matters in the NFL, but Week 6 feels really important to a lot of the teams in the league right now. The early season has been defined less by who has been great, and far more by the teams we had locked to be contenders — or at the very least established playoffs teams, many of whom have really struggled.

It’s reached the point where we could be heading towards unexpected firings for several head coaches around the NFL. These games are where so much is on the line, and where we’ll focus the picks this week. Kicking things off we have the Texans and Jaguars on Sunday. It’s too early to say that DeMeco Ryans is really in trouble, but the water will begin to get hot if the Texans continue to languish with the Titans in the basement of the AFC South. This team is being left behind, and can’t afford losses.

Then there’s Panthers vs. Eagles, and hoo buddy are the vibes bad in Philadelphia right now. Nick Sirianni’s team is struggling every single game, and now they face a Carolina team coming off their bye, getting back a lot of key players. The panel is split on this game, but it’s a critical one to keep the Eagles’ season alive.

One where there’s no doubt is with the Chiefs and Chargers. Jim Harbaugh’s team is a disaster, and barring a major surprise they will continue to lose. Everything is wrong with that team, and whether it’s Mike McDonald or Harbaugh himself, someone is likely getting fired on Monday.

Here are all our pick for Week 6.
