The Philadelphia Eagles have been dealing with a whirlwind of injuries just six weeks into the season, and it led them to make some moves to their roster. One of those moves happened to be releasing Andy Dalton, as they needed more roster space to add depth.

That was a week ago, and Dalton has yet to land on another team. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Dalton is receiving interest from several teams.

“More on Andy Dalton: Sources say he has offers from multiple teams he’s been mulling for a few days now. The Eagles had left the door open for his return on their practice squad and that was before Jalen Hurts latest blood-clot developments. TBD where he’ll wind up next,” Garafolo wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Dalton found his way back to the Eagles, especially with Hurts dealing with blood clots. As of now, there is uncertainty about how much time he could miss, but blood clots are a serious condition, and the best way to recover is through treatment. If Hurts misses extended time, it would only make sense for the Eagles to sign another quarterback, but that's only if Dalton is still available.

There seem to be other teams looking to add a veteran quarterback to their roster, but Garafolo was not specific in saying who those teams were.

It's obvious that teams still believe that Dalton could be serviceable in a backup role, and he's shown it over the past few seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
