The Milwaukee Brewers deserve more credit for their dominance in the NLCS, and former player and current MLB Network analyst Mark DeRosa made that point loud and clear.

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, DeRosa pushed back against the tendency to focus on the Los Angeles Dodgers' NLCS struggles rather than Milwaukee's success.

“I know everybody is trying to focus on what's wrong with the Dodgers, but I would like to give a lot of credit to the Milwaukee Brewers. They've been great, and this team has great chemistry,” DeRosa said.

It's a fair point. The Dodgers remain one of the most talented teams in baseball, but they have been outplayed through the first three games of the series. Los Angeles is now facing elimination, and while a 3-0 deficit is difficult to overcome, it would be foolish to count out a team with this much talent and postseason experience.

The Dodgers have invested heavily in their roster and have set an incredibly high standard over the past three seasons. Still, the Brewers have shown that talent and payroll aren't everything. Milwaukee has pitching depth throughout its staff, a lineup capable of producing in big moments, and the chemistry DeRosa highlighted.

Jackson Chourio and William Contreras have been driving the offense, while Christian Yelich has stepped up when needed. Jake Bauers and Brice Turang have also made important improvements after struggling during the NLDS against San Diego.

Now, the Brewers have a chance to finish the job in Game 4. Shane Drohan will start in what could become a bullpen game, allowing manager Pat Murphy to use his arms strategically against the Dodgers.

A sweep would send Milwaukee to the World Series while giving its pitching staff valuable rest. That could be especially important for Jacob Misiorowski, who has emerged as a NL Cy Young candidate for the Brewers. The award is his to lose.

The Dodgers still have a chance to respond, but Milwaukee has earned the spotlight. As DeRosa pointed out, this series isn't just about what Los Angeles has done wrong. It's about everything the Brewers have done right.
