The Los Angeles Rams finally got Myles Garrett back from injury in Week 9. Garrett helped make the difference in a tight 20-13 victory over the Commanders. The Rams are now 5-4 on the season and above .500 for the first time this year after Garrett's monster debut.
Garrett had an incredible game, putting the Rams on his back and willing them to victory, per The Athletic's Nate Atkins. He finished with three sacks and a forced fumble, immediately showing off his playmaking skills.
The veteran pass rusher made a big splash with his first sack of the game. Garrett strip sacked Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, resulting in a fumble picked up by Omar Speights.
Garrett had not played since Week 1, where he made virtually no impact against the 49ers. Then Garrett had arthroscopic knee surgery and missed multiple weeks while recovering. But now that he's back, the Rams finally look like the Super Bowl contender they were hyped up as during the offseason.
More on this story to come.
