The Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks will be facing off against each other to start the week. The Kings are still searching for their first win of the season, as they're coming into the matchup 0-6 with no momentum at all. Instead, there seem to be more questions than answers, and the hope is that they can get in the win column sooner rather than later.

As for the Mavericks, they've played some solid basketball to start the year, as head coach Dusty May has found a way to win games with the mix of veterans and young players he has on the team.

Coming into this game, both teams are dealing with injuries to some of their key players. Zach LaVine is listed on the injury report with right elbow inflammation and soreness, while Kyrie Irving is on the report with left knee injury management.

Here are their statuses ahead of the matchup.

Zach LaVine's injury status vs. Mavericks

LaVine is listed as questionable, which means there is a chance that he could play, but it wouldn't be a surprise if he sat. In the event that he does sit, that means it will be up to other players on the team to carry some of the scoring load that LaVine brings to the team. The good news is that they have several options, with the top one being Darius Acuff Jr. Early in his rookie season, he's already taking a large number of shots for the Kings, and it's led to him scoring a lot of points.

Irving is also listed as questionable, which means his status is up in the air. The Mavericks are most likely trying to manage Irving's playing time as he returned this season for the first time since two years ago after tearing his ACL.
