The Denver Broncos got a big win against the Kansas City Chiefs to improve to 6-2 on the season, but they might not be satisfied with their play. Over the course of the season, the offense hasn't been as sharp, and some would guess that they need an upgrade somewhere on the side of the ball. With Jonathan Taylor's name floating around in trade rumors, the Broncos could find an upgrade in the running game with somebody like him on the team.

Head coach Sean Payton was asked about trades a day after their win, and it didn't seem like he had time to go into hypotheticals.

“Sean Payton was asked about trade rumors: ‘So you're asking me a question about gossip… I'm not going to answer questions about gossip. George and I will spend time' talking about potential trades,” Zac Stevens of DNVR_Sports wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Stevens is actually one of the people who thinks that Taylor is on the Broncos' radar, and they could do whatever it takes to get him.

“I believe the Broncos are going to do everything in their power to trade for Jonathan Taylor. This could happen at any moment. You might not want to go to sleep Broncos Country. The Broncos are going to try to pull this trade off, from my understanding. They want Jonathan Taylor now,” Stevens said.

If the Broncos were able to get Taylor, he would definitely make them a better team on offense. They haven't gotten much out of the running backs they currently have, which is one reason why the offense hasn't been very dynamic this season. It's also put Bo Nix in the position to throw a lot, and he hasn't played the best either.

There are going to be several teams looking to acquire Taylor, so the Broncos need to come up with their best offer if they want him.
