The Alabama Crimson Tide is set to visit LSU this weekend. They had a week off this past week, but were missing plenty of players the last time they took to the field, including star receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams. Further, players such as Racin Delgatty, Zabien Brown, and EJ Crowell were all dealing with injuries for Alabama heading into the game.
Now, six members of the Tide are getting injury updates from Kalen DeBoer, according to Charlie Potter of On3.
“A lot of these guys from Zabien Brown to Ryan Coleman-Williams, EJ [Crowell], Racin [Delgatty], Terrance Green in particular … those guys are all working onto the football field,” DeBoer said. “They’re not all in the exact same spot, but they’re all out there going through workouts. Some are taking team reps, some are taking non-contact reps. But I think the progress by all of them is headed in a good direction. We’ll see. I think a lot of it has to do with how their bodies respond after they’re out there being pushed a little bit more at the end of the last week, yesterday, as well. And that will continue to happen throughout the course of the week.”

Meanwhile, EJ Crowell has been solid out of the backfield. He has run the ball 32 times for 216 yards and four scores as the second running back on the depth chart. Getting Delgatty would be great for the offensive line depth, which would help both Coleman-Williams and Crowell. Finally, Terrance Green has not played since the loss to Georgia, but has been great at getting into the backfield. Having someone to put pressure on the LSU quarterback from the interior part of the line would be huge for the Tide.
The Top 20 matchup between Alabama and LSU is set for 3:30 pm ET on Saturday.
