The future is always a key focus, and the program managed to land the No. 1 JUCO recruit in the 2027 class, despite the fact that he had previously committed to the Cal Golden Bears.
Reports indicate that Georgia flipped cornerback Alius Mayo to join the Bulldogs instead of Cal, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals and On3 Sports. Mayo is considered an elite-caliber player who originally committed to the Golden Bears back in August.
