The Atlanta Falcons are gearing up for their primetime matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Monday at Caesars Superdome, and Bijan Robinson is raring to perform under the spotlight as the two teams renew their bitter rivalry.

The Falcons are coming off a win against the Green Bay Packers, 35-14, in Week 3, with Robinson catching fire with 29 carries for 194 yards and two touchdowns. He also had two receptions for 19 yards.

The magnitude of their much-anticipated game against the Saints is not lost on the 24-year-old running back, knowing he needs to make sure everybody gets their money's worth. He quoted Kobe Bryant when asked about his primetime dominance, as reported by The Athletic's Josh Kendall.

“I love what Kobe said: ‘They pay to watch you, so you have to do your job,'” said Robinson.

Bryant, who passed away in 2020, always felt a deep responsibility to the fans. He believed young children might be watching him for the only time in their lives, and showing up was part of setting an example.

Robinson has embraced the same mentality, especially when all eyes are on the Falcons.

“Robinson is averaging 185.8 yards from scrimmage in his last six primetime games dating back to the start of the 2025 season,” noted Kendall.

The two-time All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowler will battle a defense that ranks 27th in the league against the run, allowing around 129 yards per game.

Last season, the Falcons beat the Saints, 19-17. They lead the all-time series, 58-56.

New Orleans is coming off a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, 35-27, in Week 3.
