Part of Deion Sanders and his Colorado football program, WWE legend Goldberg's son, Gage Goldberg, has now opened up about his own pro-wrestling aspirations. Gage Goldberg is a Class of 2024 middle linebacker from Boerne Champion High School in Boerne, Texas. Recently appearing on the Colorado Football Coaches Show, the 20-year-old opened up about his interest in pursuing a pro-wrestling career. “Yes, sir, it’s definitely there,” he said.

However, while Gage has always been interested in wrestling, his father was quite reluctant about it once. “Actually, when I was younger, he didn’t want me to do it whatsoever,” Gage said. “And then once he started to go back, once I started to get involved a little bit, then it started to change.

“Once I started getting involved a little bit, then it started to change. It’s up to me. So, I mean, I would love to do it. Honestly, I would love to have that opportunity to do it, and I feel like it would be a great thing to do after football,” he said.

In a 2024 interview, Gage disclosed that Triple H had discussed with him the possibility of pursuing a career in WWE. At one point, he was even offered a WWE NIL deal, which his father, Bill Goldberg, turned down on behalf of his son, feeling the financial terms were very low.

Gage is currently a walk-on linebacker at the University of Colorado and is focused on his college football career. However, he is still open to pursuing a pro-wrestling career later in the future. Meanwhile, his father, Bill Goldberg wrestled his last match against Gunther last year in 2025.
