The Bears had several players out of practice to begin Week 5.

Running back D’Andre Swift (hip/knee), running back Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe), offensive lineman Jonah Jackson (ankle), offensive lineman Joe Thuney (pectoral), offensive lineman Darnell Wright (ankle), and quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) all did not participate.

Chicago has already announced that Tyson Bagent will start this week with Williams continuing to deal with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. Williams is not slated to practice in Week 5, though he’s still considered week-to-week.

Defensive lineman Grady Jarrett also didn’t participate as a rest day.

Linebacker Keyshawn Elliott (quad), linebacker Noah Sewell (Achilles), and defensive lineman Shemar Turner (knee) were all limited.

Defensive back Kyler Gordon (calf) and defensive back Cam Lewis (hip) were both full.
