Cleveland Guardians designated hitter Jo Adell delivered a major postseason swing Wednesday, clearing the bases with a two-out triple in the third inning of ALDS Game 3 vs. the Chicago White Sox.

Adell drove a pitch from Hagen Smith down the right-field line, scoring Steven Kwan, Jose Ramirez and Chase DeLauter to give the Guardians an early 4-1 lead at Rate Field. The hit came with the Guardians facing elimination after dropping the first two games of the best-of-five series to the White Sox.

ClutchPoints took to X, formerly Twitter, Wednesday and posted a clip of Adell’s bases-clearing triple as the Guardians seized early control on the road.
