The Los Angeles Dodgers are tinkering with how they're using Shohei Ohtani against the Atlanta Braves. Manager Dave Roberts made one stunning lineup change involving Ohtani before Game 4 of the MLB Playoffs. But it doesn't mean Roberts is wavering from his belief in Ohtani despite recent struggles.
Roberts addressed the lapses before heading out to Truist Park for warmups.
“It's not what we all expect, what he expects from himself,” Roberts began. “But I do feel that just the talent, the care, it's going to happen.”
Roberts dipped into the big key moving forward for Ohtani, and the Dodgers.
“So I think it's just up to all of us to keep winning baseball games, and then at some point he's going to come to life,” Roberts added.
Dodger fans became spoiled with seeing Ohtani lead off at the bat. Los Angeles wanted to set the tone right away with its top power hitter. Especially with his 35 lead off homers attached to him during his career.

Some fans are wondering if Ohtani ever recovered from a previous MLB Injury that limited him toward the end of the regular season. Now LA and Roberts will aim to reignite him as a cleanup hitter.
