The Commanders have started the process of bringing a few players back from their injury lists.
They announced that they have designated cornerback Trey Amos, defensive end Deatrich Wise, and running back Jeremy McNichols for return. Amos and McNichols are on injured reserve while Wise is on the physically unable to perform list.
All three players will be able to return to practice Wednesday and they will have 21 days to work with the team before they have to be activated or shut down for the year.
They can be activated at any point within that window, so some or all of the trio could be back to help the Commanders against the Giants in Week 5.
