The Milwaukee Brewers can make Major League Baseball history if they sweep the Tampa Bay Rays in this year's World Series. They can also do something else that is quite rare. It has been quite a while since a team won the Fall Classic in a sweep.

The last team to win in a sweep was the San Francisco Giants in 2012, per Talkin' Baseball.

The Brewers can also become the first team in MLB history to win both the World Series and a championship series in a four-game sweep. No team in MLB history has done that since the championship series went to a best of seven.

Milwaukee already defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers in a four-game sweep, in the NLCS this season. The Brewers then kept the wins coming in the Fall Classic. Milwaukee took Game 3 by a 10-1 score.

Brewers fans traveled to Florida to watch the team dominate in Game 3. Brewers manager Pat Murphy loves to see it.

“It was unbelievable, and our players felt it, and they'll tell you about it,” Murphy said, per MLB.com. “The players looked around like, ‘Wow!’ … That's a statement about how much this team has captured the hearts of the people from Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin, all the Brewer fans. It was amazing, the level of support we got tonight. It was incredible.”

There are many players leading the Brewers right now. One is Jackson Chourio, who became the first player in World Series history to post two hits and a stolen base in one inning.

“I was ready, and I wanted to win today,” Chourio said after Game 3. “I knew that us winning this game today, it was a big one and it was going to be a big one for us.”

Game 4 of the World Series is on Tuesday night at 8:00 ET.
