Breanna Stewart balled out as she led the New York Liberty past the Minnesota Lynx in a 91-75 upset during Game 1 of the first round of the WNBA playoffs on Sunday afternoon.

Stewart has been playing in the WNBA since 2016, shining as one of the best players in the league. She led the Liberty to the championship in 2024, hoping to get them back to the mountaintop once again.

New York secured the last spot in the playoff bracket, showing how competitive the best teams have been throughout the campaign. They took on the Lynx, an elite squad that has championship aspirations as well.

Stewart and New York chose to rain on their parade in the series opener. Stewart flourished with a stat line of 34 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks. She shot 11-of-18 from the field and 10-of-12 from the free-throw line as New York stunned Minnesota in Game 1.
