Arch Manning’s NIL value plummets outside top 40 as rival class of 2027 QB takes crown

Arch Manning was on top of the world entering 2025.

The Texas Longhorns quarterback carried a $6.8 million On3 NIL valuation entering last season.

When Texas owned a 7-3 record and sat seventh in the SEC standings, Manning’s brand value plummeted, dropping $3 million off his starting figure.

Now, as the 22-year-old focuses on his final season with Texas, his NIL has taken a further hit, sitting at $2.5 million.

This is $4.3 million lower from 2025 preseason, and drops him below No.50 on the NIL100 list.

Inside Texas reported that he would take a reduced revenue-sharing cut in 2026 to help his team fill out roster holes.

After a slow start to his debut season as the starter, Manning fired 20 touchdowns to two interceptions in the final seven games of the season.

It wasn’t enough for the Longhorns, who finished 10-3 (6-2 in the SEC) to secure a berth in the College Football Playoff.

He ended 2025 with 3,163 yards, 26 touchdowns, seven interceptions and 10 rushing scores. He won Citrus Bowl MVP against Michigan.

He opted to return to the Longhorns for his second season as starter,

Manning enters 2026 as one of the most highly-touted quarterbacks in a stacked 2027 draft class.

After adding Geno Smith in the offseason, the New York Jets have been accused of tanking in order to land Manning.

The Arizona Cardinals’ tough schedule also has some questioning whether they might be able to select Manning in the draft.

Hurricanes QB leads NIL valuation

Duke quarterback Darian Mensah’s decision to enter free agency on the last day possible was the biggest surprise of the college football offseason.

With Carson Beck, Miami Hurricanes’ quarterback at the time, entering the 2026 Draft, the fit seemed perfect.

Set to be the highest paid college football quarterback, his On3 valuation sits at $6.5 million, still $300k behind Manning’s figure ahead of 2025.

The Hurricanes finished as runners up in the College Football Playoffs last season, falling to the Indiana Hoosiers – whose quarterback was eventual No.1 pick Fernando Mendoza.

Beck was selected in the third-round by the Cardinals, despite a brutal pre-draft valuation.

Mensah led the ACC with 3,973 yards and 34 touchdowns in 2025, leading Duke to their first title since 1962.

He and Manning will both have eyes on a Heisman campaign, but the real prize is the No. 1 pick in next year’s NFL Draft.
