Andy Robertson gives update after new Tottenham signing forced off at half time of Scotland defeat
Andy Robertson admits he’s unsure if he’ll be available for the rest of the World Cup should Scotland get to play another match.
The 32-year-old was taken off at half time of Scotland’s 3-0 defeat to Brazil at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Celtic’s Kieran Tierney came on to replace to Scotland captain.
No official reason has been given as to why new Tottenham signing Robertson was forced off.
However, he ‘gingerly’ took his place on the Scotland bench a few minutes into the half.
talkSPORT’s Shebahn Aherne, who is at the game in Miami, said: “I want to mention how hot it is in here. I am cooking in here, Andy Robertson is breathing like a racehorse.”
She added: “This is miserable, this heat. Andy Robertson very cautiously and gingerly came back to the dugout to watch his team for the second half.”
Robertson was later seen with an ice pack on his ankle in the second half.
Robertson gives update
The former Liverpool left-back didn’t disclose what his injury complaint was and couldn’t say how long any potential lay-off would last.
“Time will tell. Need to take a day or two to see what has happened,” Robertson told the BBC.
However, it’s unlikely Robertson will play in another World Cup match this summer regardless of whether he’s fit or not.
Robertson himself admitted when asked about Scotland’s chances of advancing to the next stage: “I don’t think we’ve done enough.”

Scotland vs Brazil
The Tartan Army’s hopes of qualifying for the last-32 suffered a major blow as Brazil inflicted maximum damage.
It was always an outside shot Scotland would get a result against Brazil, but will likely need some favours from elsewhere to ensure passage to the knockout round.
A first-half double from Vinicius Jr and a goal from Man United’s Matheus Cunha saw them cruise to a 3-0 win.
Goal difference could be vital in determining which of the 12 third place teams go through.
Eight will progress, while four will miss out.

Andy Robertson’s next club
The left-back ended a trophy-laden nine year spell at Liverpool this summer with his contract allowed to expire.
He won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FA Cup and two League Cups during his time at Anfield.
Shortly after his exit was confirmed, it was announced he would join Spurs.
Robertson said: “Hi Tottenham fans, I’m in America preparing for the World Cup just now, but I wanted to send you a quick message to say I cannot wait to play for you guys.
“I cannot wait to meet you guys, I cannot wait to play in the stadium for the first time in front of you and I’m already looking forward to next season.
“All the best, and I’ll see you soon!”
