Alan Brazil went full Thomas Frank and was pranked into drinking out of a Rangers cup while live on talkSPORT.

Frank was caught drinking out of an Arsenal cup prior to Tottenham’s 3-2 loss at Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

The under-pressure Dane hardly helped his cause as the north London side fell to a late defeat on the south coast.

Mathys Tel had put Spurs ahead early on at the Vitality Stadium, only for Evanilson and Junior Kroupi to turn the game on its head as the Cherries went in at the break in front.

Joao Palhinha looked to have earned Spurs a share of the spoils with his acrobatic equaliser in the 78th minute.

However, Antoine Semenyo bagged a second-half injury time winner on his final Bournemouth appearance before he departs for Manchester City as the Cherries ended their 11-game winless run in dramatic fashion.

Spurs fans voice discontent

And there were ugly scenes after the loss as Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro clashed with away fans, who booed Frank at the Vitality Stadium as Spurs fell to their sixth defeat from their last 12 league games.

Captain Cristian Romero took to Instagram to slam the Spurs hierarchy as the 2025 Europa League winners continue to struggle under Frank, who succeeded Ange Postecoglou at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium helm last summer.

Drinking from a cup with the badge of your rivals is hardly going to ease Frank’s position at Spurs.

And Brazil followed suit having been pranked by Gabby Agbonlahor on talkSPORT Breakfast on Wednesday morning.

The talkSPORT host is a huge Celtic fan, and is renowned for his passionate opinions on the Bhoys.

However, former Villa frontman Agbonlahor handed Brazil a coffee cup with the Rangers badge emblazoned on the side in full view of the camera.

The 66-year-old unknowingly drank from the cup for 20 or so minutes before Agbonlahor revealed all to the former striker.

“Al, I’ve got some bad news mate,” Agbonlahor began earlier this morning.

“You’ve been drinking out of a Rangers cup for 20 minutes and we’ve got clips of you drinking from a Rangers cup.

“You’ve been drinking out of that for 20 minutes, Al, they’ve got all the clips on the socials.”

Brazil quickly quipped back: “It didn’t taste right.”

“Alan has been drinking out of a Rangers cup, and he didn’t notice like Thomas Frank. It can easily happen Al!” Agbonlahor said, before Brazil replied: “It can easily happen when your mate alongside you doesn’t tell you!”
