4 players in NFL Draft tabbed as surefire Pro Bowlers, and 1 of them will surprise you
The 2026 NFL Draft is finally here. NFL teams will gather in Pittsburgh on Thursday night for the first round, with the rest of the draft taking place on Friday and Saturday. One NFL insider shared some prospects who are very popular among league personnel.
NFL insider Jay Glazer revealed four draft prospects who league personnel believe are surefire Pro Bowlers. One of the names on the list is a bit surprising.
“Talking to a tonnnnn of personnel people, coaches, etc. I always ask guys to give me their ‘sure thing’ guys they think will absolutely have double digit years in this league on a Pro Bowl level,” Glazer wrote on Wednesday. “This year there were FOUR in the majority: [Fernando] Mendoza, [Jeremiyah] Love, [Caleb] Downs and Vega Ioane. Not to say others won’t but these four were mentioned in the majority of guys I talked to.”
Olaivavega Ioane is the one surprise name on that list.
Ioane is widely regarded as the best guard prospect in this year’s draft class. That is saying something considering how good the 2026 o-line class looks on paper.
His main competition is tackle Francis Mauigoa, who some believe could kick inside to guard in the NFL. But Mauigoa has a back injury that may take him completely off the draft board for some teams.
Ioane is an excellent guard prospect who would be an ideal fit in any power run offense. But the fact that league personnel view him as a future Pro Bowler shows just how talented he could be.
Ultimately, Ioane is destined to go off the board in the first round. The only question now is how long he has to wait in the green room.
