WWE’s Chelsea Green explains ‘minimally invasive’ SVT procedure after WrestleMania high heart rate scare

After recently announcing that she had an SVT heart procedure done, WWE Superstar Chelsea Green elaborated on it and how a scary WrestleMania moment showed her that the time was right.

Green took to X, formerly Twitter, to update her fans following the procedure. She revealed that during WrestleMania 42, her resting heart rate reached 228 “for almost 15 minutes.” A doctor worked on her for three hours, including the final hour when she had to be awake.

Luckily, it all went well, and Green promised that she would “be back to work very soon.” That is great news for Green, who’s a fixture of WWE programming.

“After 10 years of dealing with it, we finally caught my SVT,” Green wrote. “My latest episode during WrestleMania pushed my resting heart rate to 228 for almost 15 minutes. “Thankfully it was minimally invasive and I’ll be back to work very soon,” Green concluded.

When will Chelsea Green return to WWE after her SVT heart procedure?

Green didn’t give a firm timeline on her return from the SVT heart procedure. However, she did state that she will “be back to work very soon.”

Hopefully, that means she is back in WWE sooner rather than later. While she hasn’t wrestled since February 2026 due to an ankle injury, she has still been an on-screen character.

Green suffered an ankle injury in an Elimination Chamber-qualifying match in February 2026. This resulted in her missing WrestleMania 42.

Over the last couple of years, Green has become one of WWE’s top characters. She returned to WWE in 2023 with a gimmick change, playing a “Karen” and complaining to general managers like Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis. Green became the inaugural Women’s United States Champion in December 2024 after winning a tournament and has won the title once since then as well.
